September 26, 2011. Becker Capital Management Honored at Annual Corporate Philantropy Awards
Becker Capital Management was recognized at the 2011 Corporate Philanthropy Awards event last week for its philanthropic work in 2010. Becker Capital, which was among the leaders in the small business category, gave over $103,000 to Oregon-based non-profits including Catholic Charities, Salud, and the Macdonald Center.
The Portland Business Journal 2011 Corporate Philanthropy Awards was presented by the Regence Foundation. Other award honorees included Bank of America, Intel, Nike, and the Portland Timbers.
Becker Capital is an independent, employee-owned firm that manages over $1.9 billion for individuals and institutions across the country. The firm prides itself on being a career destination for seasoned investment professionals and has seen no turnover on the equity team since its inception in 1976.
